Rotaract Christmas in the Park will take place on 17 December 2025, and the Ministry of Cultural Development is proud to confirm its sponsorship of this year’s event. The annual celebration brings families, youth, and the wider community together to enjoy the festive season through culture, creativity, and shared joy.
Christmas in the Park continues to serve as an important platform for cultural groups, schools, performers, and community organisations to showcase their talents. The event also supports charitable initiatives, highlighting the spirit of giving and unity across the Cook Islands.
A key feature of this year’s programme is the Christmas tree decorating competition. Schools, community groups, and families are invited to design and decorate festive trees that express creativity and celebrate Cook Islands cultural identity. This competition encourages wide community participation and adds an exciting visual element to the event.
The Ministry’s sponsorship reflects its commitment to supporting community-led initiatives and promoting cultural expression. Through this partnership with Rotaract, the Ministry acknowledges the value of youth leadership, volunteerism, and collaborative efforts that contribute to a vibrant and connected nation.
The event will offer a lively mix of entertainment, food stalls, children’s activities, and festive experiences for all ages. The Ministry looks forward to supporting a memorable celebration for everyone.
